One of the fun parts of getting married is the special time you get to spend with your friends and depending on whether you’re planning a simple overnight affair or a week-long excursion, it’s common courtesy to give your bridal party some advances notice.

If you’re planning a one-night get together then a few weeks notice should be fine but if you’re planning a destination trip or something a little more elaborate than a night out with the girls, then at least six months notice should be provided. Plans have to be made for vacation requests, budget planning, travel arrangements, pet sitting, or whatever plans are required for extended absences from work or home.

Planning ahead ultimately ends up in one and all having a good time and experiencing a pre-wedding event that will etch fond memories for years to come.
